Amy manages deal flow and investment strategy for VegInvest. Before joining the fund, Amy spent 18 years advocating for animals as a partner in the animal law firm, Egert and Trakinski, where she litigated on behalf of national animal protection organizations, grassroots advocacy groups, and individual clients. She is currently Board Chair of Compassion Over Killing and a Director of the Animal Welfare Trust. Amy has a B.A. in History from Binghamton University and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Kevin joined VegInvest after a twenty-year career in animal advocacy, operating as a lobbyist, fundraiser, operations director, and chief campaign strategist. As the senior administrator at VegInvest, Kevin is principally in charge of monitoring the portfolio and managing fund operations. Kevin earned his degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. He currently resides in New York City with his husband and two rescued “research” beagles.
